　　待續多出現在連續劇、連載漫畫(小說)結尾處。如果一個故事情節較長、需要采用連載的方式敘述，在每集結尾處就會出現這個詞，提醒觀眾繼續關注情節的發展，類似于評述中的“要知后事如何，請聽下回分解”。也指某些比較復雜的事情，在某一時間段內無法完成，而留一個尾巴，以后接著完成。
